May 9

It’s been a good first week here with the new group of photographers. I had a couple of days off which I spent taking some photos so I hope you enjoy! This month I will be with the photographers everyday on all the different aspects of their project, from bushwalks to gamedrives to all the conservation work…busy month ahead but should be some good times.

  1. aww, that is such a great shot of vlekkie! glad to see that you put your time to good use! 🙂

  2. Wow what a week for animals! I loved them all. Sounds like the next few weeks will be fun with the photographers. Drakensberg should be nice and green. Have a good week.

  3. Goliath Heron 2 took my breath away! Vlekkie is adorable! I particularly like Nyala, white fronted bea-eater and zebra 3. Glad I don’t have to choose for any reason, but I could never do it! Excellent photos, as usual.

  4. I love all of the pictures. I was just wondering if the geese are a delicacy over there or are they endangered? Just wondering because my husband is a hunter. BEAUTIFUL! Looks like you are having a lot of fun. Be safe!

  5. I can’t get over the variety of animals that you have photographed. You are going to have a hard time choosing which ones to print. Theyare spectacular.
Do you wander off by yourself or do you take someone with you?

  6. Your pictures look fantastiolly Sean Tilden! I think I’d be as tall as the baby giraffe. One question- did the baby hyena laugh at you when you took it’s pic like they do in the Lion King????
